Rules
Every event will have the following format:
1st 4 points
2nd 3 points
3rd 2 points
4th 1 point
Where round robin it’ll generally be:
Overall record (ie team that wins all 3 gets first)
Total points (if Pickleball has same record , run/point differential gets second)
Discretionary tiebreaker on the spot (ie sudden death format for given sport- up to popular vote)
Rules and play for sports:
Pickleball
Official pickleball rules with main callouts as follows:
Games played to 8 win by 2- 11 is the ceiling for time
Every team plays each other. Tie breakers based on overall points.
One team has one person serve first round- then each team has both people serve going forward. You lose your serve when you don’t get a point (individually)
Each team must let the SERVE AND RETURN bounce on every point. For those new, we’ll be lenient on this and do some do-overs but communication is key from the partners perspective
You can’t hit the ball IN THE AIR ahead of the front line (kitchen). If you hit the ball and then land in the kitchen, then you lose that point. There’s some weird shit where you can land out of bounds and that’s okay but I’ve never seen that happen
QB/Receiver-
Each team plays round robin- highest point differential is tiebreaker
Each team member throws and catches 4-5 times (determined based on timing)
You DO NOT have to throw ball past cone but recover must advance ball there before ANY CONTAct
1 point for completion, 1 point for interception
5-7 second rush for DE (determined on site)
Must catch ball in bounds
MUST alternate receiver and qb each play- can change up rusher and cb but you have to play each D position equally
Chippo:
Will figure out when Miller sends official rules
Wiffle ball HR
HR MUST be over back wall
2 rounds with top two batters advancing from each round (one person per team in round)
Team first place based on overall winner, followed by second /third etc- if two teams don’t advance to last round- sudden death tiebreak to commence
Will discuss defense/catching rules on day of- but that may be the tiebreak instead
Bocce ball
Because this is random as shit, fully tournament rules.
Winners play for championship and losers play for third
Games to 10, no win by two
Kanjam
